    Great video

  2. I just watched you do over the Grandfather Clock. First let me say. It is amazing what people put out on the curb.
Then , Sherry, you surprised me again. With the clock make over. Since I only started watching your episodes yesterday. December 29th. 2023. I guess I must pick the grandfather clock episode as my favorite. But I can tell you , next year will be a real hard to pick one. ๐Ÿ˜Š Bless you. Have a wonderful new year.

  3. Decades ago when I was in a pinch money wise, I gifted a blue and white teapot and matching teacups/saucers to a coworker in a basket with some boxes of tea, she absolutely loved it. Thrifted gifts are so special and require a little elbow grease, but are so much fun to giveโ€ฆand get!๐Ÿ˜Š if you find nice baskets (every now and then, I find Longaberger baskets, some with liners), set them aside to hold thrifted or food gifts. They are a gift in themselves, so pretty and useful!

  4. Have a wonderful Christmas, Sherry! Congratulations on another great year for your channel. ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ„

    What’s a bun warmer?

  6. Your pretty soap reminded me of a gift idea we did when my younger brother was in cub scouts. We adhered a a pretty decorative decal or sticker to the top, melter a bar of paraffin and we (adults) dipped the top of the soap bar in the wax. Those gifts were about 50 cents a piece back in the day, if that much! You shared some great gift ideas! I will keep my eyes open all year for some new gifts, thank you!

    Poor edgar.

  9. What wonderful ideas for all year long.

  10. Hi Sherry, I really enjoyed viewing this video because you have wonderful ideas for making over used things!! You also are one of the most creative artists of all the diy people I watch. Thank you for sharing your talent. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

  11. Thank you Sherry for once again sharing you great ideas .

  12. New subscriber, here. I’ve watched a few of your videos and am selective as to who I subscribe. I enjoy your clever make overs of items that are often overlooked. You’re very creative and generously share your products, techniques, methods and vision for items that can purchased from 2nd hand stores supporting small business and also be saved from the landfill. Great job!

  13. Your GoodWill is so much cheaper than ours…The Goodwills we have here in Mobile , Al. have become expensive…For a harback book now its $3.00 and for a paperback it’s $2.50, for a ceramic or corningwear bowl its $6.00 and for lamps it’s 35.00… I wish we had your GoodWill prices…I love your ideas.

  17. Love this video. You are so crafty.

  18. Your video was a lot of fun as well as inspiring , thank you. I like to do Mod Podge and I love visiting the thrift shop to collect my next make over project. I use Elmer’s white glue and a bit of water, well mixed, and it works great instead of buying the Mod Podge paste. I love thrift stores because they are a treasure chest of items you can’t find any where else and every visit holds a different surprise.

  19. You are amazing. So talented.

I don’t mean to rain on your parade and your videos are usually spot on but I must say that Howard’s Feed and Wax isn’t food safe and it is definitely not a good idea to get bike helmets at thrift stores.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this episode!

  24. @maryanngastaldo6751 October 12, 2024 at 4:57 pm

    Merry Christmas!! <3

  25. What wonderfully personal gift sets! The tip about ironing wrapping paper was new to me, will definitely try this in future projects. I love thrifted boxes and bags and tend to leave them sealed for a couple of days with a dried lavender sachet inside to freshen them up from any mustiness. I have very real thrift shop envy compared to our tiny British shops. xx

WOW ! So very many amazing finds ! I especially loved what you gave to Madison, the dark green pitcher with utensils, & Santa jar with cookie cutters. So many great finds, I just subscribed, thank you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  27. Amazing ideas!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!! Gods blessings! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Hi can you please tell me what vaccum you have? I love all your ideas. I’m going thrifty this week I hope I get good deals like you. Happy New Year.

  29. I keep presents for myself all the time!๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  31. These are wonderful gifts!

  32. Merry Christmas! Thank you for a year full of great inspiration! Love your style & creativity!

  33. Thank you! Great ideas. โค

  34. I really am not sure when my maternal grandparents came up with a very "cool" Christmas gift. North Alabama is very well known for Sorghum Syrup to be stored in a bucket. The gift was for my mother and her siblings. The ID was as follows, "a bucket of GREEN to paint the town RED". (I guess the bucket goes without saying holds "$")

  35. @wednesdayschild5082 October 12, 2024 at 5:09 pm

Love your idea about the vintage LPs and record player as a gift!

  36. You are soooo thoughtful and I know your family will love getting a gift from you so very heartwarming โค

  37. @karennagel-smith6648 October 12, 2024 at 5:11 pm

I loved your ideas! Where do you thrift? The stores near me arenโ€™t arranged this neatly, nor do they have lovely selections like this!

  38. @ramonagutierrez1671 October 12, 2024 at 5:12 pm

Where in the world is this Thrift Store? Itโ€™s wonderful! Here in South Florida we have nothing like that! Goodwill and Salvation Army donโ€™t even have those prices! They are very expensive stores and not good merchandise, nothing vintage or antique. I suppose this store is in California or somewhere in some middle eastern state.

  39. I donโ€™t know about Madison but I definitely loved all of her gitfs ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ ! Really creative love it all โคโค

  40. @kellensimonedossantos8442 October 12, 2024 at 5:15 pm

Feliz Ano Novo 2024 huhulll ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท

  41. Lovely ideas!

  42. FYIโ€ฆ
Tip for the glass lid on your Santa โ€œformer beverage dispenserโ€โ€ฆput a thick rubber band around the glass lid to help it stay in place & not chip. Your prices in these thrift stores are very inexpensive compared to the thrift store prices in my area. Items are almost 2 – 3xโ€™s higher here.
